Carl J. Russell

Carl J. Russell, 88, of Prospect died Wednesday, Jan'. 5, 2000, at his home.
He was a farmer and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Prospect,
where he formerly served on the church board of administration. He was a
tormer member of the board of directors for the Prospect Farmer's Exchange
and a former Prospect Township Trustee. . *
He was born Dec. 18, 1911, in Thompson Township to the late Earl I and
Mabel Landis Russell
He is survived by his wife, Margaret M. Heiby Russell whom he married
April 9, 1939; two sons, Ralph (Patricia) Russell and Charles (Shirley) Russell
of Prospect; a daughter, Carolyn (Richard) Clunk of Delaware; eieht
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran
Church. The Rev. Stephen S. Bull will officiate and burial will be at the
Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Gehm-
Ballinger Funeral Home.
