Donald Lee Williams, 61, of Green Camp died Saturday, Nov. 25,2000 at
Marion General Hospital after an illness of 15 months. He was a retired dog warden and was of the Protestant faith. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and a member of Waldo American Legion Post 605. 6 He was bom March 1,1939, in Crawford County and was predeceased by his father, Omer P. Williams and a sister, Wanda Sandlin. He is survived by his mother, Helen L. Williams of Prospect; his companion, Virginia "Ginny" Holton of Green Camp; four sons, Ricky (Laurie) Williams of Marion, Randy (Cindy) Williams and Fred Williams of Louisville, Ky., and Ronnie (Sonny) Williams of Missouri; a daughter, Deborah Williams Hahn of Louisville; several grandchildren; six brothers, Bill (Millie) Williams and Larry (Kathy) Williams of Marion, Phil (Janet) Williams of Radnor, Richard (Pam) Williams and Bud (April) Williams of Prospect and Mark (Sandy) Williams of Iberia; and two sisters, Jean Jackson of Prospect and Linda (Herb) Bilger of Mount Gilead. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home. The Rev. C. Rorke Warne will officiate and burial will be at the Shoup Cemetery in Thompson Township. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral home. | |||
