Donald Eugene Rodman, 69, of Prospect died Friday, Nov. 12,1999, at his
home after a two-year illness. He was a retired milkman and had worked for Isaly's and Smith Dairy for 42 years. He was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church and the Richwood Gun and Game Club. He was born Aug. 16, 1930, in Prospect to the late Fred and Dorothy Ward Rodman and was predeceased by a son, Donald E. Rodman. He is survived by his wife, Judith Jones Rodman whom he, married Oct. 28, 1971; four daughters, Carolyn (Bob) Litzenberg of Marion, Deborah R. Thacker of Lima and ..JUuannon Rodman,and Alishia Rodman of Prospect; three sons, William (Dianne) Rodman of Marion, Randy Thacker of Green Camp and Rodger Thacker of Fort Sill, Okla.; 20 grandchildren; and five great-grandchldren. , • • . Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Revs. David L. Hoffman and Michael Brown will officiate and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today. Pall bearers will be James Adkins, Jack Adkins Jr., Randy Thacker, Rodger Thacker, Rodger Thacker II and Tony Jones. Honorary pall bearers will be Kenneth Laughorn, Brian Stone and Eugene Stone. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. | |||
