Betty June Hempy

Betty June Hempy, 69S died Friday, Sept. 10, 1999, at her
Prospect residence, following a ten-year illness.
The Union County native was born August 7, 1930, a daughter
of the late Wallace and Ruth Caskey Doyle.
Sha was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church and
Prospect Senior Citizens. .
Surviving are her husband Frank Hempy; four sons, Mike
Hempy of Prospect, Rex Hempy of Marion, Bill Hempy of
Delaware and Sky Hempy of Michigan; a daughter Carolyn
VanEck of LaRue; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren:
and a step-great-grandchild. Also surviving are three sisters
Grace Smith of Ostrander, Ann Hummel of Sunbury and Judy
Puller of near Richwood.
The Rev. David L. Hoffman conducted graveside services
Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at Prospect Cemetery. Gehm-Bnllinger
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
