Joseph Matthew Russell
Joseph Matthew Russell, 12, of LaRue died Friday, Sept. 17, 1999, at Children's
Hospital after having been hit by a car.
He was an eighth grade student at Elgin Middle School.
He was born Dec. 18, 1986, in Prince Georges, Md., and was predeceased
by a brother.
He is survived by his father, Dennis Alan Russell of Brandywine, Md.; his
mother, Theresa Ann Bradley Russell of LaRue; his maternal grandmother,
Nancy Bevins of Prospect; his maternal grandfather, Robert Noren of
Prospect; paternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Russell of Clinton, Md •
paternal great-grandmother, Katheryn Elizabeth Russell of Johnstown, Pa.;
maternal great-grandmother, Betty Brown of Delaware; a brother, James
Dennis Russell of LaRue; two sisters, April Christine Russell and Catherine
Elizabeth Russell of LaRue; four uncles, Donald Eugene "Chip" (Kristi)
Bradley of Westminster, Md., Kenny Edwin Bevins of Prospect, Steven
(Katfay) Clark of Bowie, Md., and Clifford (Deborah) Russell of Charlotte
Hall, Md.; close friend, Chuck Bingley; and several cousins.
Funeral services were held today at the Waldo United Methodist Church
and burial was at the Prospect Cemetery. The Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home
m Prospect was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Cancer Fund in
care of the funeral home.
