Virginia Irene Goins Erwin

Virginia Irene Goins Erwin, 75, of Greencamp died Friday, June 25, 1999.
at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a one-week illness.
She was a homemaker and attended Shiloh Community Church.
She was bora Sept 2, 1923, in Union County to the late Ottie and Hazel
Jackson Gray and was predeceased by three stepsons, a brother and a sister
She was also preceded in death on Feb. 9, 1978. by her first husband,
Leonard Goins whom she married Dec. 6, 1939.
She is survived by her husband, William Erwin whom she married Nov. 30,
1980; four sons, Ron Goins of Greencamp, Virgil Goins of Claibourne, Jerry
Goins of Richwood and Randy Joe Goins of New Bloomington; four daughters,
Rebecca Higgins of LaRue, Kathy Conley of Urbana, Brenda Dennis of
Marysville and Debbie Erwin of Greencamp; four stepsons, John Erwin and
Steve Erwin of Marion, Clarence Erwin of Marysville and Ted Erwin of
Washington; a stepdaughter, Evelyn Cook of Harpster; and numerous grandchildren
and great-grandchildren. .
Funeral services will be: held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Robert W. Schmelzer will officiate and burial
will be at the Raymond Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
