Lester LeRoy Carter
Lester LeRoy Carter, 56, of Richwood died Tuesday, Nov. 23,1999, at the
Arbors at Delaware after a two-month illness.
He was a truck driver at Clark Trucking and was a veteran of the U.S. Air
Force serving in Vietnam and a member of VFW Post 870.
He was born April 6, 1943, in Marion to the late Martha Williams.
He is survived by two daughters, Dawn (Darryl) Cox of Richwood and
Rhonda Jo Mclntosh of Marysville; a son. Gerald Lee Carter of Lima; and
nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be
at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may T>e made to the American Cancer Society in
care of the funeral home.
