Muriel Elizabeth Harriman

Muriel Elizabeth Harriman, 99, of Claibourne died Friday, July 3,1998, at
Wyandot Manor in Upper Sandusky after having been in failing health for
several years.
She was a member of Claiboume United Methodist Church and United
Methodist Women and a former member of Claibourne Grange.
She was born May 5,1899, in Wyandot County to the late Peter M. and Ina
Garvin Swihart. She married Kenneth B. Harriman January 21, 1921, in
Asheville, N.C., and he died August 20, 1974. She was also preceded in
death by a son, James Harriman; five brothers; and a sister.
She is survived by two sisters, Annabelle Warfel of Cardington and June
Moses of Upper Sandusky; a son, Don Harriman of Marion; six grandchildren;
several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. Rev. Glenn Decker will officiate and burial will be at the
Price Cemetery. Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Claibourne United Methodist
Church Memorial Fund or the American Cancer Society.
