Howard E. "Pete" Fausnaugh 80, of Richwood died Saturday, Oct. 31,
1998, at Marion General Hospital after a brief illness. He was a set-up man in the machinist department at Marion Power Shovel. He was of the Methodist faith. He was born Nov. 23, 1917, in Union County to the late Albert and Marie Brown Fausnaugh and was predeceased by four sisters and a brother. He is survived by his wife, Mary Erwin Fausnaugh whom he married March 19. 1938; three daughters, Shirley Longstreth of Richwood and Kay (Ed) Carver and Betty Vance of Marion: four grandchildren, Vince Vance, David Carver, Steve Carver and Christine Carver; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Earl Fausnaugh of Delaware. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Winnie Bateson will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7:30 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood Fire Department and Emergency Squad Association. | |||
