Lulu Irene Baker

Lulu Irene Baker, 93, formerly of Richwood, died Tuesday, Dec 1 1998
at Marion Manor after having been ill for several years.
She was a member of Shiloh Community Church in Prospect
She was born Aug. 13, 1905, in Union County to the late Joseph M. and
Clida Robinson Temple and was predeceased by a sister and a brother She
married Fred L. Baker Sept. 26, 1922, in Prospect and he died Feb 9 1978
She is survived by two daughters, Armilda (Clay) Tilton of LaRue and Iva
(Arlis) Wasserbeck of Prospect; eight grandchildren; and several greatgrandchildren
and great-great-grandcliildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Robert W. Schmelzer will officiate and burial
will be at the Otterbein Cemetery near Prospect. Friends may call from 6 to
9 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels in care of
Memorial Hospital of Union County.
