Helen Baird

Helen Baird, 80, of Marysville died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec 24 1998
at Memorial Hospital of Union County.
Bom Sept. 9, 1918, to the late Norman and Ella Usner Zimmerman in
Akron, she grew up in Zanesville. She married John Baird on Nov. 30 1941
She was a member of the Richwood First Baptist Church, was past president
of the American Baptist Women of Ohio and was a member of the
Women's Auxiliary of Gideons International.
She is survived by her husband; one son, David (Sheryl) Baird of Richwood;
two daughters, Cynthia (Tom) Lewis of Richwood and Barbara
(Harley) Hanna of Zanesville; 12 grandchildren, Natalie Baird, Angela
Baird, Lucas Baird, John Lewis, David "Lewis, Joshua Lewis, Benjamin
Lewis, Peter Lewis, Rachel Lewis, Caleb Hanna, Lauren Hanna and Andrew
Hanna; one brother, Brice (Ann) Zimmerman of Columbus; and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at 11 a.m. at the
Richwood First Baptist Church with burial in Claibourne Cemetery. The
Revs. Barb Stevens and Jerry Neal will officiate.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Baliinger Funeral Home
in Richwood.
