| Madora Olive Evans, 85, formerly of Richwood, died Wednesday, Dec 30
1998 at Community Healthcare Center in Marion after a one-year illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Somersville Friends Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 30 years. She also attended Union Baptist Church and Community United Calvary Church. She was born Sept. 2, 1913, in Richwood to the late Guy and Golela Eddy Riley and was predeceased by a brother and two sisters. She married Floyd Shupe in October 1935 and he died in March 1976. She married Richard Evans Oct. 14, 1976, and he died in March 1995 She is survived by a stepson, Robert 0. Evans of Richwood; two grandcnildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. George Freer will officiate and burial will be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m Sunday Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. | |||
