Paul Richard Hoffman


Paul Richard Hoffman, 78, of Waldo died unexpectedly Wednesday, July
15, 1998. at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.
He was an equipment operator for National Lime and Stone in Marion. He
was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran
Church in Prospect, the Waldo American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
He was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Prospect to the late Kent and Ethel Kirby
Hoffman and was predeceased by a sister.
He married Betty Fields Aug. 28, 1966, and she survives. He is also survived
by a daughter, Theresa Hoffman of Waldo; two sons, Rick Hoffman of
Springfield and Doug Hoffman of Washington Court House; a stepdaughter,
Mary Hoffman of Columbus; and a stepson, Wayne Hoffman of West Mansfield:
four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two brothers, Jim Hoffman
of Marion and Charles Hoffman of Marysville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Gehm-Ballinger
Funeral Home in Prospect. The Rev. Stephen S. Bull will officiate and burial
will be at the Prospect Cemetery Friends may call fro 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church
memorial fund.
