John A. Blevins
John A. Blevins, 54, died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998 at his
Prospect residence. The co-owner of the G & R Tavern in Waldo
was a member of Moose Lodge #889 and American Legion Post
#605.
The son of Curtis Edward and Thelma Grace Rosebrough
Blevins was born June 16, 1S44. His father survives in Bucyrus.
Surviving are his wife, the former Sam Darnell, whom he married
in February 1998; a son Jon Blevins of Prospect; n step
daughter Kelly Jones of Sycamore; three grandchildren; two
brothers Ron Blevins and Bob Blevins, both of Galion and two sisters
Deb Cast of Galion and Sheba Keyser of Delaware.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 25 at the Prospect
United Methodist Church with the Rev. David L. Hoffman officiating.
Interment was at Prospect Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society
of America.
