Ralph Richard Roberts

Ralph Richard Roberts, 81, of Prospect died Friday, April 11, 1997, at his
home after a one-year illness.
He was a retired steel worker and was a member of SL Paul's Lutheran
Church in Prospect and Prospect Senior Citizens.
He was bom Nov. 2,1915, in Prospect to the late Charles and Frances Edna
McNeal Roberts. He married Dora Dell McWherter Aug. 3,1955, and she
died June 4, 1996. He was also predeceased by a brother and a sister.
He is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Thomas) Hazelwood of Dublin
and Roberta (David) Gimmastad of Seattle; a son, Ralph E. (Noima) Roberts
of Lexington, Ohio; five grandchildren, Scott Hazelwood of Atlanta, Kristin
Hazelwood-Harmon of Medina, Kerri Hazelwood of Columbus, Joshua
Roberts of Mansfield and Lara Roberts of Hartford, Conn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Gehm-Ballinger
Funeral Home in Prospect. The Rev. Stephen S. Bull will officiate and burial
will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Marion General Hospital
or the church memorial fund.
