| Robert J. Emery, 92, of Prospect died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997, in Newport,
Ky. He was a retired sheet metal worker for the Huber Company and worked at the Emery Orchard for many years. He was a member of the Prospect United Methodist church, Prospect Senior Citizens and Prospect Community Park Board and had served as a township trustee. He was born May 11, 1905, in Prospect to the late Clement and Mary Porterfield Emery and was" predeceased by four brothers and four sisters. He married Ruth E. Harmon Oct. 10, 1937, in Prospect and she died June 8, 1 990. He is survived by a son, Bruce A. Emery of Worthington; two daughters, Elinor (Thomas) Rambo of California, Ky., and Marcia (Rodger) Burden of Edison; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Prospect United Methodist Church. The Rev. David L. Hoffman will officiate and burial will be at the Radnor Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Prospect Community Park. | |||
