Mayme Marie Foster, 86, of Richwood died Thursday.Feb. 1,1996, at Milcrest
Nursing Center in Marysville. She was a homemaker and member of the Richwood Civic Center. She and her husband formerly owned and operated a grocery business in Ridgeway. She attended Community United Calvary Church and the Richwood Church of Christ. She was born Dec. 27,1909, in Boyd County, Ky., to the late James and Margaret Spurlock Mitchell. She married Lawrence L. Foster March 1,1938, in Rushsylvania and he preceded her in death in 1971. She was also predeceased by three sisters. She is survived by two sons, Carl P. Adkins of Ironton and Jim Foster of Richwood; a stepson, John Foster of St. Louis, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Jeannette (Bill) Crumm of Bellefontaine, Geneva (Frank) Pizutti of Ellicottvilte, N. Y.,andEloise(Delos) Davis of Beverly Hills.Fla.; nine grandchildren; IS step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Fred Cheney will officiate and interment will be at the Claibourne Cemetery.
