Lydia Edith Mettler

Lydia Edith Mettler, 95, of Richwood died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 1996, at
Grady Memorial Hospital after having been in failing health for one year.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Essex United Methodist Church
and the grange.
She was born March 12,1900, in Union County to the late Jesse Bell and
Elizabeth Godfrey Robertson. She married Cloyd L. Mettler Oct. 14, 1927,
and he died Sept 20, 1986. She was preceded in death by five brothers and
three sisters.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ballinger Funeral
Home. Interment will be at the Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9
p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
