Iola Jane Stewart

Iola Jane Stewart, 74, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1996 at Marion General
Hospital. The Richwood area resident was a retired school teacher,
having taught at Toledo Schools and Elgin School System. She
was a member of Mensa.
The Union County native was born April 13,1922, daughter of
the late Elmer and Helen Atkinson Jolliff. She married Donald
W. Stewart on July 6, 1949. He preceded her in death June 11,
1964.
Surviving are two brothers Gerald Jolliff of near Richwood and
Donald Jolliff of near Morysville; two sisters Juanita Battles of
LaRue and Sharon Robinson of Elkhart, IN. A brother and a sister
are deceased.
The Rev. Scott Nichols conducted funeral services Friday, Nov.
22 at Ballinger Funeral Home. Burial was at Hopewell Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pharisburg United
Methodist Church.
