Doris Lucille Cameron


Former Prospect resident, Doris Lucille Cameron, 89, died Friday,
July 26, 1996 at Coshocton Memorial Hospital following a weeklong
illness.
The retired nurse was a member of Prospect United Methodist
Church, Prospect Senior Citizens, 60-year member and past office
holder of the Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War
and office holder of the Practical Nurse's Association Ohio's
District 7.
She was born July 4, 1907 in Prospect, daughter of John P. and
Mattie E. Latham Penry.
Surviving are two daughters: Barbara Jean Rogers and Judith
Allen Corwin, both of Coshocton; four grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren
and a great-great-grandchild.
Also surviving are two brothers: Hershel Penry of Terre Haute,
IN and John Penry of Marion; and two sisters: Betty Fout of Columbus
and Patricia McPherson of Marion.
The Rev. Don Trigg officiated funeral services held at Gehm-
Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect Monday, July 29. Burial will
be held at Prospect Cemetery at a later date following cremation.
