Murray Orben "Mow" Wheeler
Murray Orben "Mow" Wheeler, 76, died Tuesday, Feb.
21, 1995 at Marion General Hospital.
He had heen in failing health 3
months. Thu son of Orhen and
Nellie Frances (Rodgers)
Wheeler, was born November 3,
1918. in Prospect. On July 26,
1941 , he married the former Edna
Eileen House, who preceded
him in death December 1, 1991.
The Prospect resident was a
retired truck driver; member of
the Verne I . Mounts American
Legion pOST #368; Moose Lodge
#1167 in Delaware, and a
member of the Veterans Park
Committee..
Surviving are a son. Robert of
Birmingham, AL: a daughter,
Karen Stephens of Marion:
seven grandchildren; a brother.
Kenneth, Marion: and a sister.
Frances Landon of Lakeview.
Four sisters and a brother are
deceased.
Funeral services were held
Friday. Pol). 2-1 at the Gehm-
Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect,
with Rev. Charles Bowling
officiating. Burial was at the
Prospect Cemetery where
American Legion Post #368 was in charge of services at the
graveside.
Memorial contributions may
be made to the Veterans Park
Committee.
