Charles Truman Hesson


Prospect resident Charles
Truman Hesson, 59, died
Wednesday, May 3, 1995 at his
residence following a three
month illness. The employee of
Penry Sand & Stone was a U. S.
Army veteran and member of
Prospect American Legion and
Marion VFW.
Born July 13, 1935 in Prospect,
he was a son of the late
Raymond and Lena Maser
Hesson. He married the former
Ruth Wirick July 13, 1987.
Surviving are his wife, three
stepdaughters Candy Jackson
and Jennifer Hopkins, both of
Prospect, and Sherry Hear, of
Marion; two stepsons, Rusty
Hoyil. of Washington and Ted
Bear, of Marion; and seven
grandchildren. Also surviving
are six sisters, Adlee James,
Buela Cline, Elsie Hesson, Rita
Rodgers, Hazel Young and
Martha Coona, all of Marion;
three brothers, Cecil and Ray,
both of Prospect, and Harold, of
Marion.
Rev. Monty Kaufman conducted
graveside services
Saturday, May 6 at Prospect
Cemetery, where Prospect
American Legion and Marion
VFW members were in charge
of military rites.
Gehm-Ballinger Funeral
Home was in charge of
arrangements.
