Grace Ellen Harmon
Grace Ellen Harmon, age 97,
formerly of Prospect died Tuesday,
May 23, 1995 at Marion Manor
after a lengthy illness. She was
born May 27, 1897 in Radnor
Township to the late John G.
and Sarah (Fryman] Gabriel. On
Sept. 8. 1917 she married Carl
K. Harmon, who died Feb. 7.
1957.
Surviving are one son, Paul
Harmon of Prospect. 3 grandchildren
and 7 great grandchildren;
one brother. Lester
(Cap) Gabriel, Delaware.
One son, one daughter, one
brother, and two sisters preced-
ed her in death.
The Harmons owned and operated
the Harmon Nursery
in Prospect for 37 years. She
was a member of the Prospect
Baptist Church, Senior Citizens
and member of the former Pro-
spcct Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held
Thursday, May 25 at the Gehm-
Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect
with Rev. Rob Schlatter officiating.
Burial was at the
Prospect Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may
be made to the Prospect Baptist
Church.
