Josephine Isler, 90, of Prospect,
died Sunday, Sept. 3, 1995 at Marion Manor. She had been in failing health for several years. The retired music teacher was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and former member of the Church Missionary Circle and Beacon Sewing Group. The daughter of Samuel and Celia Mayfield Almendinger was born in Prospect January 24,1905. She was a graduate of Prospect High School and Capital University. Her husband Edwin M. Isler, whom she married Christmas Day, December 25, 1929, preceded her in death March 17, 1987. Surviving are a sister Florence Wagstaff of Wilmington, nieces and nephews. A sister is deceased. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 6 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Monty Kaufman officiating. Interment was at Prospect Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church Memorial Fund. | |||
