Eddie Theodore Congrove
Funeral services will be held
Thursday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. for
Eddie Theodore Congrove, 73 of
Oatrander. He died Sunday,
Nov. 6, 1995 at The Arbors in
Delaware after a four-week illness.
The retired press operator
at Amana in Delaware was a
U.S. Army veteran, having
served during World War II.
The son of Sydney and Mary
Congrove was born in
Ridgeville, OH, November 5,
1922. He married the former
Marjorie Redman January 16,
1943. She preceded him in death
February 27, 1995.
Surviving are a son Eddie D.
of Delaware; two daughters
Judy Scaggs of Delaware and
Grace Orahood of Prospect;
seven grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren. Two
brothers and two sisters are
deceased.
Rev. Monty Kaufman will be
in charge of funeral services
held at Gehm-Ballinger Funeral
Home in Prospect where friends
may call Wednesday from
2 - 4 and 7 • 9 p.m. Burial
will be at Shoup Cemetery in
Delaware County where
military rites will be conducted.
Memorial contributions may
be made to Hospice in Delaware
County.
