Margaret U. and Angel N. Ray

A Marysville mother, Margaret
Underwood Ray, 33, and her
4-year-old daughter Angel N.
Ray died from injuries received
as a result of a fire Tuesday,
Feb. 14, 1995 at their home.
Reports from Marysville Fire
Department indicate their 650
Chestnut St. residence was
engulfed in flames when firemen
arrived at 9:39 a.m. Angel N.
Ray died from smoke inhalation
at Memorial Hospital of Union
County. Her mother Margaret
Underwood Ray was
transported from Marysville's
medical facility to Ohio State
University Hospital in Columbus,
where she died at approximately
10 p.m.
Margaret Ray was born
March 22,1961, daughter of the
late John and Gladys Wahnetta
Harvey Underwood. She
married Michael Ray June 14,
1992.
Surviving are her husband, a
son David Cook, a daughter Anna
Ray, both at home; a stepson
John Robert Ray of Galion; and
a half sister Jane- Howard of
Carmichael, PA.
Joint funeral services were
held for mother and daughter
Saturday, Feb. 18 at Ballinger
Funeral Home with Rev. David
L. White officiating. Burial was
at Fairview Cemetery, near
Windridge, PA.
