Vadie Webb

Vadie Webb, 96, of near
Richwood, died Wednesday,
March 8, 1995 at Community Nursing
Center in Marion. She had
been seriously ill approximately
two weeks.
The daughter of Ralph and
Alafare Jones Holbrook was
born February 2, 1899 in
Lawrence County, KY. She
married Austin Oliver Webb
December 25, 1918. He preceded
her in death February 13,
1988.
Surviving are two sons,
Leonard and John, both of
Richwood; two daughters,
Dorothy Webb of Richwood
and Betty Scheiderer of Columbus;
four grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren. Also
surviving are four half sisters,
Ramie McConnell of Alabama,
Diane Ulicny of Arizona,
Frances Shostach of Pennsylvania
and Wilma Giraldi of
California; two half brothers,
Forest Holbrook of Marion and
John Holbrook of Miamisburg;
two stepsisters, Irma Holbrook
of Pennsylvania and Zelda
Salyers of Arizona.
Rev. James Taylor conducted
funeral services Saturday,
March 11 at Ballinger Funeral
Home. Burial was at Price
Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may
be made to the Western Ohio
American Lung Association.
