| Robert Lee Butcher, 75, died
Friday, March 31, 1995 at Marion General Hospital. The retired mechanic had been in failing health approximately two years. Horn April 2,1919, in Mineral City, he was the son of the late Roy and Bertha Stevens Butcher. He married the former Dorothy Stoner April 26, 1941 in Morral. The twenty-year veteran of the Richwood Fire Department is survived by his wife, a son John and a daughter Nancy Everly, all of Richwood; four grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren and a sister Mrs. Charles Chase of Marion. A daughter, a sister and two brothers are deceased. Funeral services were held Monday, April 3 at Ballinger Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Fye officiating. Burial was at Claibourne Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richwood Fire Department and Rescue Squad Association or Americare - Marion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. | |||
