Hazel Marie Wood

Hazel Marie Wood, 82, died
Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1995 at Milcrest
Nursing Center in Marysville.
The former Richwood area resident,
bad been in failing health
for two years. She was a retired
receptionist at the former office
of Dr. C.W. Holcomb.
A native of Richwood, she
was born September 22, 1913,
daughter of the late Howard
and Martha Naus Jerew. She
married Vernon L. "Jake"
Wood September 3, 1929. He
preceded her in death
November 12, 1990.
Surviving are two sons
Donald of Wellsville and Roland
of near Richwood; four grandchildren;
, seven great-grandchildren
and a sister Pauline
McKinley of Richwood.
Rev. Wilbur R. Boyer conducted
the funeral services Friday,
Oct. 6 at Ballinger Funeral
Home. Interment was at Prospect
Cemetery.
