Clarence Earl "Clancy"
McMahon, 62, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 16, 1995 at Memorial Hospital of Union County. The co-owner of Mike's Roofing in Prospect was a member of Prospect American Legion Post #368, Delaware Orioles, VFW Post #7201, ORCA, Delaware Builders Association and Marysville Builders Association. The Prospect resident was born July 31, 1933 in Union County, son of the late Earl E. and Minnie F. Henry McMahon. He married the former Linda Davis December 3, 1965 in Battle Creek, MI. Surviving are his wife, five daughters Lori Skeens of Ostrander, Bev Kandel, Debbie Brown and Connie Haller all of Richwood and Bobbie Jo McMahon of Prospect; two sons Bud McMahon and Clancy McMahon, Jr., both of Richwood; sixteen grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. Also surviving are a brother Thomas of Ft. Myers, FL; five sisters Mabel Foreman of Mt. Victory, Edna Mangus of Clearwater, FL; Bertha Low of Marysville, Martha Marsh of Richwood, Florence Zieg of Green Camp and Ardith Salyer of Delaware. Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 20 at the First Baptist Church in Richwood with Fred Cheney officiating. Burial was at Claibourne Cemetery where military rites were conducted.
