Loren Newton Mounts
Former Prospect resident
Loren Newton Mounts, 66, died
Saturday, March 19, 1994 at his
Hilliard residence following a
brief illness. He was a retired
supervisor at Defense Construction
Supply Center in Columbus
and a member of Big Darby
Baptist Church.
The Army Air Corps veteran
was born June 6, 1927 in
Prospect, son of the late Harlow
and Stella Congrove Mounts
July 24, 1948, he married the
former Mary Wasserbeck, who
survives in Marion.
Also surviving are two sons,
Stanley of Clyde and Dwayne of
Hilliard; five daughters, Karen
Mok of San Ramon, CA, Kathy
McCulloch of Worthington
Marilyn Fryman of Hilliard,
Cheryl Winegard of Columbus
and Dianne Waldenmeyer of
Florence, KY; eight grandchildren;
two brothers, Carl of
Marion and Robert of New
Bloomington and two sisters,
Dorothy Schmeltzer of Richwood
and Norma Eusey of
Marion.
Rev. Chuck McNeil and Dr.
Jim Barnett conducted funeral
services Wednesday, March 23
at Gehm-Baltinger-Peppard Funeral
Home. Burial was at
Prospect Cemetery.
