Kenneth William Davids
Funeral services will be held Thu, June 9 for Kenneth William Davids, 74 of Prospect who died sunday, June 5, 1994 at MedCenter Hospital in marion. He had been in failing health for three years.
The retired electrician was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church; Prospect Masonic Lodge #444 F & AM; Prospect American Legion; Aladdin Shrine Temple; Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus and Prospect Senior Citizens.
A native of Prospect, he ws born March 19, 1920, son of the late William H. and Bessie C. Codding Davids. The World War II U. S. Army veteran married the former mildred M. Wade August 29, 1941.
surviving are his wife, a son, Keith of Prospect; a daughter, karen Sigler of Sylvania; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and two sisters, pauline King of Prospect and Margaret Walker of Sarasota, FL. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Rev. Jeffrey D. Jewell will officiate funeral services Thursday, at 2PM at Prospect United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call at Gehm-Ballinger-Peppard Funeral Home in Prospect, Wednesday, June 8 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Masonic services will be held at 7 PM. prospect American legion will be in charge of military services at the gravesite.
