Maryellen Willis

Maryellen Willis, 75, of Richwood died Tuesday, Aug. 2,1994, at Grant
Medical Center.
She was the co-owner of the former Claibourne Elevator and was a member
of the Central United Methodist Church and the Plus Ultra Class of the church.
She was born March 16,1919, in Findlay to the late Burt L. and Alia Mae
Walter Marvin. She married Douglas L. Willis on Dec. 29,1936, and he died
May 26, 1981. She was predeceased by seven brothers and a sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Jean) Redmon and Mrs. Jerry
(Linda) Temple, both of Richwood; a son, John Willis of Richwood; nine grandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Stokes of Hobe Sound,
Fla.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Claibourne Cemetery.
The Rev. Cliff Fryda will officiate. There will be no calling hours. The Ballinger
Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund or a charity
of the donor's choice.
