Mildred Eloise (Duke) Montgomery

An announcement is being made of the death of Mildred Eloise (Duke) Montgomery,
81, formerly of the Richwood area, on Aug. 7,1993, at Arboretum
Nursing Home in Rockdale, Texas.
Her body was cremated at the time of her death, and graveside memorial services
are now being set for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Claiboume Cemetery with the
Rev. Fred Cheney officiating.
She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of the Cedar Creek United
Methodist Church in Cedar Creek, Texas.
She was born March 11,1912, in Richwood to the late Herman Clyde and
Laura June Cahill Duke. She married Rolin H. Montgomery and he died Dec.
26, 1980. She was predeceased by a brother.
She is survived by a son, Larry D. Montgomery of Louisville, Texas; a
daughter, Kay M. Bryant of Carlsbad, Calif.; five grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
There will be no calling hours.
