Charles Guy Bingley


Charles Guy Bingley, 54, of Prospect died Monday, April 5,1993, at home
after an illness of five weeks.
He was a Lutheran, a member of Eagles Aerie Lodge #376 of Delaware and
Moose Lodge #1167 of Delaware.
He was born May 31,1938, in Continental to the late Otto Bingley and Mary
Ann Smith Bingley, who survives in Prospect.
He married Paula Somerlot of Richwood on Aug. 25,1990, in Prospect and
she survives. He is also survived by two sons, Charles Allen Bingley and Jeffery
Dean Bingley, both of Prospect; a daughter, Cara R. Creamer of Marion; three
stepsons, Jeff and Scott Fox and Kendal Kincaid, all of Prospect; nine grandchildren;
three brothers, Wayne Bingley of Continental, Gerald Bingley of
Prospect and Donald Bingley of Charlotte, N. C.; and a sister, Mrs. Joseph
(Shirley) Fryman of Prospect.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Gehm-Ballinger-
Peppard Funeral Home in Prospect with Leonard Ahmay officiating. Interment
will be at Prospect cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Hesson, Ed DeGood, Gene Williams, Jim Frank
Clancy McMahon and Bob Maxwell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice at Marion General
Hospital.
