Ada Blanche Bliss


Blanche Bliss. 84, of Richwood and formerly of the York Center area died
Sunday, Feb. 21,1993 at Riverside Methodist Hospital after having been in
failing health for several months.
She was a homemaker and a member of York-McKendree United Methodist
Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the York
Grange, the Farm Bureau Council and the Women's Christian Temperence
Union.
She was bom May 10,1908, in Madison County to the late George and Mabel
MeKitrick Nunamaker. She married Julius L. Bliss in Delaware on Feb. 9,1930,
and he survives.
She is also survived by two sons, Emerson of Marysville and Robert of Circleville;
two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Janet) Markin of Richwood and Mrs. Lewis
(Wilma) Oiler of Bonanza, Oregon; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren;
four sisters, Esther Paugh of Plattsburg, Frances Judson of Amlin and Georgianna
Robinson and Elizabeth Weldon of Columbus; and two brothers, William
Nunamaker of Milliard and Ralph Nunamaker of Columbus.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the York-McKendree
United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Wilson officiating. Interment
will be in YorkCemetery. Friends may call at the Ballinger-Peppard Funeral
Home in Richwood Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
