Helen Louise Boyd

Helen Louise Boyd, 79, of Richwood died Saturday, Sept. 4,1993, at Marion
General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the former owner and operator, along with her husband, of the Boyd
Restaurant in Richwood, from which she retired in 1975. She was a member of
the First United Methodist Church of Richwood and the auxiliary of Richwood
VFW Post #870, in which she had served in as officer in various capacities.
She was born Sept 3,1914, in Marion to the late Ralph and Gertrude Green
Parish. She married Charles A. Boyd on June 14,1933, and he preceded her in
death on March-29; 1978.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John (Linda) Heath of Marysville; a son,
William L. Boyd of Fredonia, N. Y.; four grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren;
and a sister, Mrs. Webb (Mary F.) Garber of Springfield.
Funeral services were held at today at the Ballinger-Peppard Funeral Home in
Richwood. The Rev. Wilbur R. Boyer officiated and interment was at the Claibourne
Cemetery.
