Golda Frances Dennis, 98, formerly of York Center died Sunday, April 30, 2006 at the Gables at Green Pastures. She was born Feb 3, 1908 in Hocking County to the late Bert and Jennie (Burgoon) Keister.
She was a homemaker and an excellent cook. She was formerly a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union. On Feb 24, 1940 she married George Earl Dennis, who died in August of 1979. She is survived by a daughter, Donna (Lewis) McComas, York Center; a sister, Verl Keister, Cincinnati; 1 grandson, 4 step-grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, 1 grandchild, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in the Claibourne Cemetery with Rev. Fred Cheney officiating.
