Ruth V. Fausnaugh, 89, of Marion died Friday, December 29, 2006 at Heartland of Marion. She was born Aug 29, 1917 in Union County to the late John L. and Katie Etta (Henry) Bolenbaugh.
She was a member of the Smeltzer Road Alliance Church and the Cape Coral Baptist Church, Cape Coral, Florida. The 1938 graduate of Richwood High School worked at Quaker Oats for 20 years. On June 26, 1938 she married Charles W. “Bill” Fausnaugh, who died December 17, 1994. She is survived by a son, Robert (Noan) Fausnaugh, Westerville; a daughter, Marianne (James N.) Brown, Marion; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters and one son, Albert Fausnaugh. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood. Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
