Eva Adlee James


Eva Adlee James, 81, of Marion died Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Marion General Hospital following an extended illness.  She was born March 15, 1926 in Charleston, WV to the late Raymond Isaac and Lena Belle (Maser) Hesson.

Eva’s home and her husband were her life.  She loved gardening, sewing and being a grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Elwin L. James, whom she married on August 27, 1942, 2 daughters, Barbara (Walter) Threlfall, Powell; Joyce (John) Armstrong, Plano, TX; 3 granddaughters, Ronda (Kevin) Schnipke, Prospect; Deanna (Ted) Sarago, Columbus; Andrea (Carson) Mason, Milton, FL; 1 grandson, Christopher Armstrong, Santa Ana, CA; 1 great-granddaughter, Rylee Mason; and 1 sister, Beulah Kline, Marion.  She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 13, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the Prospect United Methodist Church with Rev. David L. Hoffman officiating.  Burial will follow in Radnor Cemetery.  Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect.
