Ruby Jean Steck
Ruby Jean Steck, 79, formerly of Richwood, died Wednesday November 14, 2007 at Heartland of Marysville. She was born Feb. 20, 1928 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Martin D. and Thelma (Cunningham) Wilson.
In September, 1949 she married Virgil Steck in the Springdale Baptist Church and he passed away in 1979.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Becky (Mark) Boothe, Marysville; Noreen Loar, Alexandria, Ohio; Sandy (Dennis) Faulhaber, Centerburg; 5 grandchildren, Gabe Gray; Amy Hartley; Kevin Garee; Ken Garee; Leah George; 8 great-grandchildren; a sister Jewel Markin, Richwood and many cousins, some of whom are double cousins.
She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loved the OSU Marching Band, reading, shopping and the color green.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Jerry McQueen officiating.
