Mary Elizabeth Norman, age 85 of LaRue, died Friday December 21, 2007 at 1:20 PM at Heartland of Marion. She was born November 23, 1922 in Washington, PA to the late Cephas and Nellie (Bird) Craig. She first married Stephen L. Edwards. Later she married Edward Norman and he died in 1991.
Mrs. Norman was a homemaker, member of the LaRue United Methodist Church, the Mary Martha Circle, and the LaRue Senior Citizens. She is survived by one sister; Janie May Friend of Akron, 2 Grandchildren, also Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Also a very special friend Edward Rubenhagen of LaRue. Graveside Services will be held Thursday December 27, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the LaRue Cemetery. Minister will be the Rev. Edward W. Fugate. Friends may call at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday. Those who wish may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
