Violet Howe
Violet "Vi" Howe, 86, formerly of Richwood, died Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Fairhaven Community Nursing Home in Upper Sandusky. She was born June 22, 1921 in Marion to the late Mervin P. and Leona (Wilson) Reece, she was also preceded by 2 brothers: Warren "Friday" Reece and Glen H. Reece and 1 sister: Carol Ann Reese.
She is survived by a brother, Jim (Marlene) Reece, Richwood; a sister Norma Jean Edmonds, Columbus; two sisters-in-law, Mabel Reece, Richwood; Gertrude Reece-Depew, Evans, Georgia; a son and 5 grandchildren.
Vi was a 1942 graduate of Harding High School and had formerly worked at the the Fulfillment Corp. in Marion.
In keeping with Vi's wishes, there will be no formal services. Memorial gifts may be made to the Union County Humane Society, 16540 County Home Rd., Marysville, OH 43040.
