Mary C. Buyer
Mary Claire Buyer. age 69, of LaRue, died Thursday April 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM at her residence. She was born November 1, 1940 in Reading, Ohio to the late John P. and Nellie (Burton) Daly. On July 13, 1963 she married Paul Ervin Buyer and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons; Kevin R. (Nancy) Buyer of Silverdale, WA and Gregory P. Buyer and special friend Stephanie Coleman of LaRue, Four daughters; Lisa M. Welch of Mt Victory, Amy L. (Daniel) Knickel of Bellefontaine, Sheila K. Watkins of Rio Ranch NM, and Sherri M. Buyer of Marysville. Twelve Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren. Brothers, Richard J. Daly of Granville, Ohio, Michael J. Daly of Sacramento CA, James F. Daly of Minnesota. Sisters; Rose E. Benson of Green Camp and Nancy A. Vehorn of New Breman,OH. A brother Thomas P. Daly is deceased.
Mrs. Buyer graduated from LaRue High School in 1959, earned an associate degree in dietary management from Columbus State. She worked as a dietary supervisor at Bob Evans in Marysville. She did catering for various organization including wedding cakes. Mary was a very dedicated member of the former St. Joseph Catholic Church in LaRue with the altar society, parish council, CDA member. She was presently a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Marion. She also was a 4-H advisor.
Funeral Mass will be held Monday April 26, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marion. Father Michael Nimocks will officiate. Burial in the Price Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Sunday where Parish Prayers will be said at 6:00 PM.
