Judith Ann “MiMi” McComas
Judith Ann “MiMi” McComas, age 56 of Richwood died early Friday morning, July 30, 2010 at Spring Meadows Care Center in Woodstock with her faithful companion, Lily and faithful friend, Linda by her side. Born May 22, 1954 in Columbus, she was the daughter of Frank and Barbara (Van Zant) Matteson.
A 1972 graduate of North Union High School, she was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 25 years. She loved her job and enjoyed caring for her elderly patients. She loved animals, especially her dog, Lily who lived with her at Spring Meadows. Judy was a truly loving, generous and genuine person.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Matteson, Richwood; two sons, Andrew J. (Missy) McComas, Richwood; Ken (Julie) McComas, Marion; a brother, Tim (Becky) Matteson, Richwood; grandchildren, Brandon, Chase, Quinnten and Meghan McComas; good friend, Linda (Shawn) Cooley, Mt. Victory; nieces and nephews, Christina, Brian, Jason, Valerie and Aaron Matteson.
Private graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Price Cemetery with Pastor Joseph Rhea officiating. In keeping with Judy’s wishes, there will be no public services. The family is being assisted by the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood.
