Regina Joan North


Early Christmas Eve morning, Regina J. North left to reunite in Heaven with her parents Willis and Patricia (Fahey) North.

Born March 26, 1959, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She loved her family and loved spending time with them. Surviving are 2 daughters, Andrea (Michael) Hayslip and their son, Brekkin Hayslip, Marysville; Casey (Lamont) North and her son, Kobe Jamison and her daughters, Kiah Jamison, Amari Powe, and a baby girl Powe on the way, Colorado Springs, Co.; 2 brothers Joe (Kelly) North, Richwood; and Bernie North of Los Angeles, California; nieces Mattie (Ben) North, Richwood, and Kathy (Brandon) North, Meeker; one nephew Joseph (Jenna) North, Ft. Richardson, Alaska; her loving dog, Rufus P. North; companion and friend Dirk Cheney and most caring friend Judy McElroy, all of Richwood.

She was lovingly known by her children as Mimi.  Regina’s hobby was to crochet warm one-of-a-kind blankets for family and friends. As well as mother and housewife, she held many jobs over the years, working at Cheney Auto Parts and Kale Marketing.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 5:00 PM in the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Joe Rhea officiating.  Friends may call Thursday from 2 to 5 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at a later date in Forest Grove Cemetery in Plain City.
