Gregory Allen “Greg” Mount
Gregory Allen “Greg” Mount, age 57 of Richwood died unexpectedly August 28, 2012 at his home. He was born March 27, 1955 in Kenton to William L. and Marlene L. (Kirby) Mount.
A 1973 graduate of North Union High School, he loved to work on cars. Greg was a good mechanic and liked working with anything mechanical. He had worked at Honda and Kirby Auto Parts and enjoyed helping others work on their cars.
He is survived by his father, William (Barbara) Mount, Marion; his mother, Marlene L. Mount, Marion; a son, Zackary Mount, Ostrander; a daughter, Shannon (Michael) Huffman, Urbana; a brother, Rick (Faith) Mount, Richwood; two sisters, Marla (Gregg) Dripps, Marion; Marcia Huffine, Marion; three grandchildren, Shaina, Ryan and Alexis Huffman;step-brother, Mike Christian of Mt. Gilead; step-sisters Sharon Martin of Texas, Lisa Davis of Powell and Carol Flowers of Mt. Gilead; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 31, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Joe Rhea officiating. Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM.
Memorial gifts may be made to Greg’s children, in care of the funeral home.
