Marion L. Pacha


Marion L. Pacha, age 78 of Richwood, died peacefully, Friday, July 26, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born December 21, 1934 in Burlington, Vermont to the late Joseph and Ruth (Hammond) Millette.

On December 4, 1954 she married Robert Russel Pacha in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Burlington.  He died December 25, 2000.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, John, Robert and Leon Millette; a sister, Theresa Dennis; and a granddaughter, Shelby McClincy.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marysville.  She was retired from A. V. I. where she served at the Eaton Corporation in Marion.  Prior to that, she worked at Westinghouse in Upper Sandusky for over ten years and had been a former Girl Scout leader in Prospect.  Marion was very talented at crocheting, and enjoyed making afghans and blankets of all kinds for family and special friends.  Generous to a fault, Marion had a huge heart, and loved taking care of all her extended family, friends and co-workers.

She is survived by her son, Robert Frank Pacha, Richwood; two daughters, Doris Irene (John) Willis, Richwood; Kathy Marie (Alan) Fitzpatrick Magnetic Springs; two sisters, Irene Chicoine, Burlington; Kathleen Pacha, Marion; nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marysville with Rev. David Poliafico officiating.  Burial will follow in Claibourne Cemetery.  Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood where a rosary service will be conducted at 7:00.
