Virginia "Jenny" Friend
Virginia “Jenny” Friend, age 58, of LaRue, Ohio died Thursday September 11, 2014 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio. She was born January 8, 1956 in Marion, Ohio to the late John and Vergie Ann (Cooper) Stacy. On September 18, 1986 she married Clarence “Zip” Friend Jr. and he survives in LaRue.
Also surviving are four sons; Clarence “Kip” (Samantha) Friend III of Kenton, Ohio, Shawn (Candy) Stacy of Marion, Ohio, Michael Friend of LaRue, Ohio and Christopher “C.J.” (Amber) Friend of LaRue, Ohio. One daughter; Chrystal Lewis of LaRue, Ohio. Nineteen Grandchildren. Brothers; Johnie W. Stacy of Marion, Michael K. Stacy of Marion Billy Stacy of Salt Point, NY, and Steven (Tracy) Stacy of Marion. Three sisters; Laurie (Craig) Cornelius, Denise Stacy, and Danielle (Jason) Delauder all three of Marion.
One Grandson William Garrett Stacy and one Sister Lisa L. Stacy are deceased.
Jenny has worked at Whirlpool for about 12 years. She loved working in her flower garden. Jenny was the rock of her family and very much enjoyed taking care of her family especially her Grand babies.
Funeral Services will be held Monday September 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue. Officiating will be Pastor Harry Meade. Burial will follow in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in LaRue from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday September 14, 2014.
