Terry Eugene Redmon
Terry Eugene Redmon, 66 of Prospect died peacefully at home, Saturday, October 4, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 3, 1948 in Marion to the late David and Lucille (Laughorn) (Shull) Redmon.
He worked at Whirlpool for most of his life, retiring in 2009 after 41 years. A veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard, he served from 1967 to 1971 and was a former Post Commander for Verne I. Mounts American Legion Post 368.
He is survived by two daughters, Leslie (Chris) DiDonato, Columbus; Lisa (Anson) Hamilton, Raymond; grandchildren, Collin and Carter Hamilton; Mia and Evan DiDonato; a brother, Dave (Allyson) Redmon, Bradenton, Florida; his step-father, Harold Shull, Florida.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Prospect, with Pastor Sarah Schaaf officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Marion County United Veterans Council. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect.
